Altar candlesticks (European Oak) Pair

Polished with rectangular brass plates ready for engraving, these candle sticks stand 1440mm tall and are made from seven sections which are laminated to achieve the sizes required and to ensure the stability of the timber.
The size of timber used, make these a substantial pair of candle sticks.
The candle hole is 50mm diameter with a dish below to catch excess wax.
The seven sections mentioned are spiggoted and glued and include a 10mm diameter piece of studding to ensure that it will remain secure and provide strength.
The main stem is tapered and flutted with twenty four flutes surrounding it’s periphery.
The first section from the base is 318mm square to provide a large area for stability of the candle sticks.

The collection plate is 280mm diameter with a depth of 57mm.
